The State of Ohio said in a press release: "We picked up 400 tons of cigarette butts along Ohio roadways."
I curiously put cigarette butts on a postage scale to get an idea on how many cigarette butts it would take to weigh one ton, for one ounce it took 63 butts. For one pound 1,008. . For one ton 2,016,000.
For 400 tons every smoker in the world would have to drive to Ohio to throw their butts out of the window on to the roads, or Pinoccio has acquired an anti smoking grant and works for the Ohio DOT.
